Artcrank

Over the years, I've designed a few posters for Artcrank, a series of bike- and place-themed art shows of handmade posters. Many thanks to organizers Charles Youel and Nicki McCracken.

Moon Cycle

This lunar print was initially designed for Artcrank's 2015 show at Cykel Scramble. It was inspired by and is dedicated to my fellow cyclists, witches, astronomers, wolves, time travelers, minimalists, feminists, and night owls who feel the pull of the lunar phases, the call of the wild, the dark of the night. Moon Cycle has since also been featured in SF Bike Coalition's 2015 and 2016 Winterfest art shows and on Artcrank.com. The posters were a 2-color screenprint in black and metallic gold on natural cover by Forthrite Printing in Oakland.

Sisters of the Moon

This poster was designed for Artcrank's 2014 San Francisco show. It is an ode to the women who climb this city's fierce, lovely hills every day – girls who ride bikes are a formidable, magical wolf pack – and is definitely named after the Fleetwood Mac song. These posters were a 3-color screenprint on natural cover by Bloom Press in Oakland, California.
